Larry Bays and his son Scott own Nbar Angus in the Dublin, Texas area. They have been breeding quality Angus cattle since 20010. Prior to switching to Angus cattle, Larry bred and sold commercial Charolais for forty plus years. “I realized the quality of Angus beef was unmatched, and the timing was right to move up to the best breed in the beef business,” Larry recalled.

Larry uses both semen and embryos to acquire top genetics, and Nbar bulls are sired by some of the leading sires in the breed. Nbar Angus bulls are targeted for both the Angus breeder and the commercial cattleman. Largely grass-fed, the bulls are bred to do well in native pastures.

Larry is also a partner in Tobin Nursery, selling wholesale shade trees. He jokes that he will sell you a bull and a tree to shade him in the summer.
